THE LINE
Guys,
Finally, the much talked about is here. Come April 9, a day after Xing Ru’s birthday, we will set to conquer one last thing of our season: THE LINE. Heading the conquest will be our KING Albert, assisted by his followers: Advisor Derek and Princess Quan Ju.
Nonetheless, there are people worth mentioning, such as the likes of Gallantry Zachy, to challenge the King in completing THE LINE’s spread. Not to forget, our Coach Johnson Lim, the precedent buffet champion of 1990s, will participate in this coveted conquest. WAGs are invited to grace the event too. Warning: don’t eat like the guys.
Date: April 9, Thursday
Time: 1800hrs
Battlefield: Shangri la Hotel, THE LINE restaurant
Amour: Smart Casual (if you prefer)
Weapon: Your mouth
Mental: Kung-ho
FUP: Shangri la’s Lobby
Preparation: a hungry stomach but not starved
A point to note is we are utilizing the $1000 cash reward from the last won battle. However, coach says he will be treating the remainder of $900 odd as he has promised. It did sound good but I do feel not entirely comfortable. My suggestion will be to prepare around $20 to reimburse ourselves. (Spilt the bill with coach) Having that said, we may not get to pay in the end still. But it will be nice since THE LINE is really a luxurious treat.
(Coach did suggest the sister’s buffet @ Traders Hotel: under Shangri la’s management. http://www.hungrygowhere.com/singapore/cafebiz/ But he is still cool with THE LINE as he thinks we deserved it!)
